Graphic imagery in mediated environments makes up the current creative digital environment. Crosscultural
simulations for developing a successful innovative curriculum, ones in which the dynamic
interplay of using visually rich, art-inspired imagery, represents a balanced creative freedom –a
freedom that offers an extended and comprehensive integrity for constructing and sustaining active
course design.
The chapter explores the transformative aspect of visual art structures, which teachers can
strategically employ through activities that are digitally enhanced to devise innovative approaches to
motivate digital schoolchildren to stretch their cognitive capacities, and to in turn envisage, reform,
and generate new forms of visual culture. Additionally, the potential of visually stimulating and mixing
artistic forms with scientific terms and technoscience tools, appears to stimulate a constructive
pathway for visually engaging native digital schoolchildren to expand their creativity in an intelligent
‘digicult ambient’ to meeting learning challenges.
The chapter concludes with an emphasis on unique ways to employ educational activities to
effectively respond to the reactionary nature and imaginative appeal of visual stimuli. Some art-tech
platforms or ‘think outside the box’ web-based applications supporting the benefits of creative active
learning for training the mind to be more creative and innovative are also introduced. The choice is
exercised in the selection of a proprietary array of visual art forms, and in the further selection of
digital technologies.
